I thought China didn’t like time travel ideas?
That’s right, Paul. Some of the MCGA stories predated the “ban on time travel” in 2011, while others slipped under the radar for a while because they were published online, so not as closely scrutinised. The real problem that the authorities had with MCGA fiction was when it brought up religion, or believe it or not, Communism, because the last thing they wanted was for someone to think about how things might have gone differently for the Communist Party, even when the author appears to be cheerleading for it.
